Mastri Birrai Umbri at the “Friendship between Peoples Meeting”

Thanks to collaboration with Compagnia delle Opere Agroalimentare, Mastri Birrai Umbri will be at the Friendship between Peoples Meeting this year too. Visitors to our stand can taste and buy our beers and enjoy a special exhibition revealing all the secrets that make our brews unique.

It’s a pleasure and an honour for Mastri Birrai Umbri to take part in an event that has for over 30 years been promoting the encounter between different faiths and cultures in the name of peace, coexistence and friendship between peoples.

The leitmotif of this year’s meeting is a quotation from Goethe’s Faust: “What you inherit from your father must first be earned before it’s yours”. This iconic maxim is an invitation to reflect on the real value of what has been left to us and how to husband it. And of great relevance in these times of radical cultural and social change, in which technological progress presents us with new challenges everyday.

The values of Mastri Birrai Umbri also fall within this sphere, bringing together a culture of taste handed down for centuries from father to son and creativity and a thirst for innovation. An attitude that’s based on selection of the finest ingredients for a unique and inimitable craft product reflecting the most authentic tradition.
